Kitty Tempura - Tinkly + Catnip Toy

You know the drill. You bring home the clever new toy, your cat gives it one sniff, then wanders back to batting a bottle cap across the floor. Keeping an indoor cat genuinely interested takes more than another squeaky mouse — it takes a cat toy worth chasing, carrying, and coming back to.

That's the gap Lambwolf Collective set out to close. The women-owned studio has been designing enrichment toys since 2020, borrowing from Montessori ideas to make open-ended play objects that hold a cat's attention instead of ending up forgotten under the sofa.

The Lambwolf Collective Kitty Tempura is inspired by everyone's favourite golden snack, and it's built around what actually gets a cat moving. Catnip inside draws them in from the first sniff, and from there it's lightweight and perfectly paw-sized — light enough to fling across the room, small enough for a cat to carry off in their mouth like a fresh catch. Whether your cat prefers energetic zoomies or sneaky little hunts, that's the kind of solo play that keeps them entertained and coming back for seconds.

The snuffle-pocket texture gives their nose and paws something to work at too, so the Kitty Tempura rewards curiosity as much as speed — batting, pouncing, chasing, and carrying around, all in one little toy.

It's made from soft, toxic-free materials that stand up to the reality of a favourite toy. When it starts to look like it's been through a few too many hunts, or just needs freshening up during Hong Kong's sticky, humid months, it goes in on a gentle cycle and comes back ready for the next tempura party.

• Catnip inside — draws your cat in from the first sniff, no warm-up needed
• Paw-sized at ~4.5" x 2" — light enough to fling and small enough to carry off, made for solo play
• Snuffle-pocket texture — invites nose-led foraging and pawing, not only chasing
• Multiple play styles — batting, pouncing, chasing and carrying, for zoomies or sneaky hunts
• Soft, toxic-free materials — gentle in the mouth and made for everyday play
• Machine washable — a gentle cycle and air dry keeps it fresh through humid weather

FAQ +

Does the Lambwolf Collective Kitty Tempura have catnip in it?

Yes. The Kitty Tempura has catnip inside, which is usually what pulls a cat in for that first sniff and bat.

Can I wash it?

Yes. The Lambwolf Collective Kitty Tempura is made from soft, toxic-free materials that are machine washable on a gentle cycle, then air dried. For a quick clean between washes, just vacuum the surface.

What if my cat isn't into catnip?

Not every cat responds to catnip, and that's fine. The Lambwolf Collective Kitty Tempura still has the lightweight, paw-sized shape and the snuffle-pocket texture, so there's plenty to bat, chase and carry even without a catnip reaction.

Is it a good size for kittens?

At roughly 4.5" x 2", the Lambwolf Collective Kitty Tempura is light and paw-sized, which suits kittens and adult cats alike. As with any cat toy, supervise young kittens at play and remove it if it becomes damaged.
